Karen is the partner responsible for commercial, consumer debt recovery and credit management and insolvency. Karen qualified as a solicitor in 1987 and began her specialisation in credit and debt related work in 1989.

With 18 years of experience in consumer credit recovery, debt recovery and insolvency, Karen is a highly regarded expert in Scottish Insolvency Law and is a regular speaker at industry events across the United Kingdom as well as providing regular client seminars.

Karen has been an accredited Law Society specialist in Insolvency Law for over 7 years and regularly acts for creditors or Liquidators and Trustees in defended insolvency litigation.

Karen joined partner Christine Macleod when they left Nolan Macleod in 2004
